Heavenly Bodies

~ mini-drama in haikus by Andrei Dorian Gheorghe ~

I throw meteors
from my proud tail --
uncertain traces.

I put on me the light
like a mortuary coat --
shining coffin.

I defend my planet
as a tower of high watch --
soldier with wings.

I always turn back
on the same cold points --
Sisyphus of the void.

I don't have atmosphere.
Small, but occulting stars.
Obstacle in space.

I aspirate to nova,
forgetting my children.
A mother against nature.

I am a being composed of
too many diamonds --
a sad crown.

Sovereign of the Skies:
This is my order:
philosophical doubts in parts,
perfection as a whole.
