Cand toamna e stapanitoare
Pe cer un falnic vanator
La orizont, semet, apare
Puternic si stralucitor.

In ochi cu licurici de foc
Si cingatoare la mijloc
Impodobita cu trei flori
Ce licaresc in vii culori.

Cinstire tie, mandre vanator,
Ca vii la noi cu flori si licurici
Atunci cand pe pamant acestea mor,
Iar primavara pleci discret de-aici
Cand se intoarce iarasi vremea lor.

Zigmund Tauberg teaches mathematics in Romania. A popularizer of astronomy, he was named laureate for "pedagogical astropoetry" at the Cosmopoetry Festival of the Romanian Society for Meteors and Astronomy-SARM
