by Dan Mitrut

Almathea dug a stone coffin
from pale red giant stars.
The she-goat needed her home,
the Cosmos without forms,
the whole light of the Big Bang.

There is a way without the come back.

It is a long time since,
on a constellationed thread
at the edge of a hill,
she has looked for
the heavenly boreal austral
and the cup with the sky milk
of Graal.
